Bernie is a Chartered Professional Accountant by profession with a C.P.A., C.A. designation and a Professor at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University. He has combined his teaching with more than 30 years in the practice of public accounting.
He has spent many years in the field of computer simulations, specifically for the hospitality industry and was instrumental in developing Simr. His current research interest is in the field of computer simulations for the restaurant sector and he is particularly interested in utilizing “cloud” network systems as a simulation delivery vehicle.
He has delivered many management training programs using real-time computerized simulation, has made presentations at industry conferences and co-authored several papers on the use of Simr in the classroom.
